Reverse returns with time and gives you access to defensive escapes. Spend badly and you can find yourself trapped in somebody else's turn with very few honest ways out.At 25 VESSEL or lower, Last Rite becomes available. You get one attempt per enemy Soul. If it connects, that Soul dies. If it is blocked or misses, the attempt is gone.The game is rendered entirely in a Windows terminal, but the ASCII is not just decoration. Fire distorts nearby text. Blood assembles itself into deliberate shapes. The Deep removes glyphs from the world.MODES.
