Developed by ex-emulation author zsKnight comes this simple yet fun fast-paced 8-bit style retro based game played through a board game like progression with speed running vibes. Best way to describe this is by a picture of an example play session:The game starts off by randomly picking a few games from your current unlocked collection of games. You will then play each game for about 10 seconds before it switches to the next game. Each time you return back to the same game, you will continue where you last left off. In the last round of each game, the game runs at 2x the speed!The more you play, the more score you accumulate as experience points and the more you level up. Each new level introduces either a new game or a boss battle. The games are all designed around this 10 second mechanic, so expect this to be a lot of fun!Features: Solo developed game. Currently, up to level 3 games are supported here and will be expanded further with player feedback.Games aren't running on an emulator so there will be none of that slowdown, sprite flickering, or border color issues from the 8bit era. However, many of the technical limitations are respected from that era including the usage of color palettes, some sprite limitations, and audio capabilities to give that classic console vibe.More games will be added and included free in future updates. The price will increase as more games are added, so buy early while the price is low!Many secrets and easter eggs to be discovered!Future Plans. First will be the release of the early access build with 12 classic retro style game segments ready for you to play. It will then continue to grow from there with new game segments and bosses released on a regular basis as long as there is an active community.There are other modes planned such as leaderboard challenge modes, custom mode, and online play. These modes will be implemented depending on the growth of this game in addition to the number of concurrent players.Long term plan - The 100 Game Challenge. The current ultimate goal is to build at least 100 classic retro style game segments, with a mix of games inspired by older games, new takes on classic games, and new original ideas while maintaining a high level of quality and variety as expected in this game. The fun improves with more games available as you never know which set of games you will get each time you play solo or with an opponent.
