Built in Japan to replace steam traction, the DJ Class was known for its superior cab environment and good visibility, making it a frequent sight leading all sorts of mixed-traffic operations.Throughout their career, the DJ Class was subject to many liveries, with no fewer than 10 main designs across their lifespan.
