Connect someone else to the wrong place. Create evidence that tells a completely different story.But you only have a limited amount of fake trail to work with, so choose your route carefully.ERASE THE EVIDENCE. When the task phase ends, the investigation begins.No new footprints are created. What happened has already happened.Now players can remove selected footprints from the map, destroying evidence that could expose them — or evidence that could prove someone else's innocence.Every footprint you erase changes the story the detectives are trying to reconstruct.PLAY AS A DETECTIVE. Some players take the role of detectives.During the task phase, detectives enter the map later and see delayed footprint information rather than simply watching everything happen in real time.Follow the trails. Catch players during the task phase. Then use the evidence left behind to work out who was really responsible.TRUST THE TRAIL. OR DON'T.
