The Golden Retreat is basically a psychological horror walking simulator where you have to identify anomalies to proceed. Although you can interact with some objects, it's not necessary to find things that have changed. Play Time. 30-90 minutes, somewhat depending on the random anomalies the game gives you.Difficulty. The game can be very hard if you haven't played anomaly games before. Anomalies can be small details as well as things that are easy to spot. Anomalies get harder the further you progress towards lobby.Features. As you progress you discover more and more anomalies that fill up your collection. The game auto-saves the current floor, mistakes, spoken monologues and your seen anomalies. There is also a second ending. Besides that there are several settings to adjust so the game can run even on older systems.Encounter Anomalies. You will encounter several anomalies. Some are just small changes like an object is rotated, others are more noticable and some might even try to kill you? Anomaly Collection. To check which anomalies you already have seen, there is a collection to get an overview. Are you willing to find them all?
